'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League homecoming
Kane achieves his century goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his enthusiasm in returning to the Premier League has lessened and he is prepared to explore a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The accomplished striker is presently midway through the four-year agreement he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the offseason of 2023.
The experienced forward has scored an remarkable 103 goals in 106 games for the German side, playing a key role in them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which represented the first important trophy of his illustrious career.
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has earlier mentioned that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring record of 260.
However, the England skipper has now suggested that he is no longer as keen about coming back home as he earlier was, and would certainly think about prolonging his time in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could definitely see that," he remarked.
"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be willing to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so unfolds and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different chances and different moments happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the all-time top scorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the speediest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five competitions, reaching the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had escaped him until he lifted the German title last season.
Kane states that he was not sure how he would respond after overcoming his trophy drought, but now thinks it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.
"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
